New beginning for clothes shop

A NEW ladies clothing store has opened its doors in Brackley.

Wendy Chaplin has entered the world of ladies fashion after closing the doors of her children's clothing shop, Klobber 4 Other brands jewellery Kidz, around four months ago.

Mrs Chaplin opened Bliss four weeks ago and sells clothing from a number of different fashion labels including Yumi and Adini and handbags from Fiorelli.

She said she decided to close Klobber 4 Kidz following a downturn in independent children's clothing stores and indulge her passion for women's clothing instead.

She said: "When I first started Klobber 4 Kidz it was doing well, but the children's clothing market went downhill as you are up against the supermarkets and there were so many smaller shops going under which had been going for years longer than I had. I thought I had to change so I decided to close down.

"Ladies fashion is a passion of mine and I really enjoy it. The customers come in and leave happy."

Mrs Chaplin added the store sold clothing from classic ranges but also funkier items. She said: "We have Fiorelli handbags which go down well with the ladies. We are trying to keep the lines limited so people can buy something more individual."

The store will have its official opening in a couple of weeks.
