Iconic French shoe designer Roger Vivier shod everyone from Ava Gardner to the Beatles, and in 1953 it was he who created the shoes fake rolex for Queen Elizabeth II to wear at her coronation. Her extremely swanky pair was crafted from gold kidskin and featured a fleur-de-lys motif bedecked with rubies. Inspired by this, the company's current creative director, Bruno Frisoni, has created the 'Princess to be a Queen' collection, in vibrant jewel colours - sapphire blues, emerald greens, ruby reds - and incorporating the fleur-de-lys motif.
